YVR Records is pleased to announce the upcoming release of alt-country singer/songwriter, rowdy and rousing Big Joe Burke's new CD - entitled "Quiver".
The CD Release party for "Quiver" will be held at: The Legendary Railway Club on Friday May 22nd, 2009 - with very special guests Roots Rock’n’Country band "Graham Brown & The Prairie Dogs" and Vancouver’s Rock’n’roll cowboy surfers "The Modelos".
Three of BC’s finest Roots Rock and Country bands performing at Vancouver’s hottest live music venue = 1 guaranteed night of guitar lickin’ good times.
Tickets are $10 at the door, $8 for members. Show starts at 9:00 p.m.

Recorded at YVR Studios in Vancouver (East) between December 2008 and April 2009, produced by Big Joe Burke, engineered by Ken Burke and Chris Hockin, "Quiver" is a powerful and passionate follow up album to Big Joe Burke's debut "Love or Money", presenting timeless and topical subject matter through an intensely expressive fusion of country, rock’n’roll and the blues.
“Quiver” will touch listeners deeply – move, evoke, cause goosebumps to rise and bring on shivers. It will take you places that you know and love, then pull you away – lead you to a darker, uncertain fate. Questions raised, and promises delivered.
